Meet Buddy and Tweety (not Sydney anymore)

Last week I went visiting teaching and one of the sisters I v.t. said that she was planning to find a new home for their parakeets. I thought these would make fun pets! Ken and the girls went looking the previous week (after making a goal at their soccer games) for a rabbit or a guinea pig - which I didn't know about. I remember my rabbit I had when I was in Junior high...they stink and make too much of a mess. So I'm glad they didn't find any rabbits at the pet store. :) The only MAJOR problem we've had with the birds is chirping during nap time and waking Ellie up, which I wasn't very happy about. Ken is an animal lover, but not of birds. He actually made the comment: "I really wouldn't be sad if I came downstairs in the morning and they were dead". Ruthless.
