If you can believe it or not, I have not had one free moment for the past 10 days to sit down at my computer. For those of you who know me, I LIVE on my computer. :) I've had lot of things I could post about, but no time. I will post it in sections so you don't get too bored. :)
We went to Frightmares at Lagoon 2 weeks ago and the girls had a lot of fun....however, they didn't like the BIG scary guys walking around. I took the girls during the day on Tuesday -- the last day they were open. It was actually a perfect day to go, it wasn't crowded at all!
October 26th was the Ribbon Cutting for our new school and our 1st annual Halloween Carnival. A few days before the ribbon cutting the principal informed me that I was on the agenda. I tried to get out of it, but couldn't. :) The carnival was a blast -- I'm just glad the stress is over with (for a bit anyway).
Last Thursday I walked into the living room and Tweety was lying on the bottom of the cage. I don't know what happened -- birds are hard to diagnose when they are sick. I think it might have caught a cold and couldn't get better. :( I feel like a horrible bird mom. The girls took it better than I did -- I had a hard time with it. That's why I don't like pets, I get too attached. So we called our neighbors, who gave them to us originally, and they told us to come get another bird because buddy needed a friend. So we went over and picked up two more. They are trying to sell their cage and find a home for all the birds they had. They started with 6 and they're down to 2. Meet Snowflake and Abby. :)
Ken's parents had a Trunk or Treat in their ward last Wednesday. They had a huge chili & scone dinner and lots of games for the kids. Trunk or Treating was before dinner and the girls took that opportunity to stock up on candy! Ellie was a Giraffe this year...and boy was she a cute one. :)
