Happy Birthday Ellie!

Thursday, March 6, 2008

I know I'm a little late for this...that's just how life has been lately. :) Ellie turned 2 on the day we came home from Disneyland. I'm sad she probably won't remember it. We had just a small family party for her. She has become quite the character. She is talking a ton and there isn't a word she doesn't attempt to say. Tonight she even said a sentence as she was yelling down to the girls "Come on, we eat dinner". Ellie is so well mannered, I couldn't ask for a more perfect baby. Yes, she's still my baby. It's sad to see her grow up so fast...I don't want this moment of time to get past me. I need to sit down and enjoy her more instead of always running around being busy with unnecessary things. She is so affectionate and is always giving us hugs and kisses. Her favorite thing to do it read books and sing. Her favorite songs are: Twinkle Twinkle, I am a Child of God, Popcorn popping, & In the Leafy Treetops. It's amazing how much she learns in nursery -- we started singing Book of Mormon Stories and The Wise Man and she chimed in and new exactly what we were singing. She is a ham and will smile for anybody to take her picture. I love my girls!

The Rainbow cake I made. I'm not the artsy one to go all out and decorate with frosting, but I can do fun stuff like this! It's skittles and marshmallows. Thanks to my friend Betty C.! :)

Can you see her hair catching on fire?
I was too busy taking pictures to notice. :)

What a cute cake, I love it! Happy Birthday to Ellie!

(It was fun to see you today at the school. And, it reminded me I need to call you about my scrapbooking questions.) Have a great weekend!

I love birthdays! I remember when we first moved in the ward and I saw one of your daughters and I thought "That little girl is the cutest...those lips" Ellie wasn't born yet, but she is just like the other two...darling. Lucky Girls.

Happy Birthday Ellie! She is sooo cute, and so much hair! Give me a call one day and we can get Ellie and Arden together for a playdate.
