Hawaii

It might take me over a week to post pictures, so forgive me if that's all I post for a while. I'm still trying to catch up on life since being home. I took my old Kodak camera with us -- not wanting to have to pack around my Nikon and risk it being ruined, but I wish I would have.

These are a few pictures from the temple and up behind it at the cemetary. We were able to go do a session towards the end of the week and visit the visitors center. It was a fun experience and we were also able to meet many different people from all over, including many from Utah. It was a home away from home. We were told 85% of the people in La'ie, Hawaii are members of the church. We stayed in a studio apartment right on the beach owned by an LDS couple...we were 2 minutes from the Temple and the famous Hukilau Beach.

It looks beautiful! One of these days I will go and visit there. It is always neat to go to the temple where ever you go on vacation. We went to Manti back in June and where able to go with all of Jeff's family and that was really neat. Good luck getting back into life:)
