Yay, the girls finally started school today! I've needed my sanity, schedule, and quiet time back and it's definitely something I've been looking forward to. I hope I'm not considered a bad mom for not crying while dropping off my 1st grader. It was sad to see them stay at school all day, but we're all a little happier now that we're getting a little needed space. :) Ellie was quiet all the way home...I couldn't get her to talk. While eating her breakfast she asked "Where's the girls?" I said "Where did we just take them?" She said "School". She was already missing the company -- even though it's not always good company. Lately she's learned how to role play. She'll say "You're Troy and I'm Gabiealla" (High School Musical). She'll then continue to talk as if we are those characters and then randomly switch after a minute - making me Gabriella and her Troy. Anyway, so while I'm cleaning the kitchen she proceeds to say "You're Caitlin and I'm Ashlan"...and we continue to talk about what we are doing. It was quite funny. That was when I knew she was really missing the girls. We have two of the best teachers in the school (little perk for being PTA pres.) and we are excited for the fun year ahead of us!

You have such cute girls!! Enjoy your quieter time...soon you will have 2 at home again, and it won't be quiet anymore!
Cute pictures! You are good to go with them to their classes and get a picture with their teacher...I'm not that good. Nate dropped her off and I was even wondering if Brylee got to her class okay. Ellie is cute. You guys are going to have fun together :) I can't wait till Karston goes to school. hahaha.
Don't let any one tell you you are a bad mom for wanting your own space once in a while! The girls look dang cute too. Patton went to Paragonah with my dad for three days and Adree was more unhappy then she has ever been. It is kind of funny to think they would rather have the craziest sometimes mean siblings around then none at all.
Awww Ellie is so cute. I bet it's nice to know she loves her big sisters so much!
I know what you mean about quiet time..enjoy every moment :)
