Happy Anniversary

We celebrated our 11 year Anniversary on Saturday, January 24th. We didn't make any exciting plans to do anything...just a day without kids was exciting enough. :) Ken's parents were generous enough to let all 3 girls sleepover Friday night so we could have the day to ourselves. I think it wore them out -- they might think about it twice next time we ask them. We went out to lunch to Osaka because Ken was wanting sushi really bad. Shouldn't I be having the cravings? As we all know though, I'm very indecisive and it's just easier if he picks. We headed to the mall afterward to do a little shopping. After wearing myself out with all the walking, we decided to kill some time by driving around to look at houses. I had made us appointments at Sego Lily for a couples massage later that evening. The massage was very relaxing! I was so looking forward to being able to lay on my stomach with the special table they have for pregnant women...they however don't have that table. :( It all worked out and was a very fun/relaxing evening.

It's crazy how time flies...I can't believe it's actually been 11 years. I feel so old compared to these newly weds. It's been a wonderful 11 years though and I wouldn't do anything different. I am grateful for a very supportive husband. Like everybody, we've had our ups and downs, but it's only made us stronger as individuals and as a couple. Marriage is something you have to work at everyday and sometimes I get too caught up in everything else to give him the attention that he needs. He is very patient with me. :) I hope the next 11 years will be just as good!
